The Prayer Shawl Guild at St. Gabriel's is an active way to love and care for out family of faith and our community of faith beyond.  It is a tangible way to show God's love to all of His people.

Our ministry at St. Gabriel's formed in May 2005. Members gather together monthly in the library at St. Gabriel's Church for an hour and a half of knitting or crocheting and camaraderie. We meet in the church library on the second Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m.

We want to reach out to those in need with a Prayer Shawl or Prayers and love to comfort, console and strengthen our family of faith. We want it to be a reminder of God's promise that He is always with us.

Our mission is to reach out to those in need with the gift of a prayer shawl. Each shawl is created with love and prayers and is blessed by our priest for the recipient. Our ministry serves as a reminder of God's promise that He will be with us always.
